Blueway is part of the actions carried out by the Blue Economy incubator, Incubazul, although all those interested in this knowledge can access it without having to be part of the project.
Each of the six sessions will have 500 hours distributed between "How to undertake successfully", "Blue Economy" and a specialization between aquaculture, sustainable tourism and renewable energies.
The first of the itineraries begins on June 1 and will include specific training in sustainable tourism
The delegate of the Free Zone, Fran González, has indicated that the program aims to generate an entrepreneurial spirit and concern for the environment and the blue economy
Today, the Cádiz Free Trade Zone has presented Blueway, a training program that it will launch from June 1 and whose fields of action are entrepreneurship and the Blue Economy. It is an ambitious plan of more than 3,000 hours of training with which it is intended to reach people interested in receiving training to put their ideas and concerns into practice.
Participating in the presentation ceremony, together with the Free Trade Zone delegate, Fran González, was the head of the specialized company Method, Gonzalo Rodríguez, which collaborates with the Consortium in the Training Plan.
This initiative is part of the actions being developed by the Blue Economy incubator of the Cadiz Free Trade Zone, Incubazul. It is a kind of pre-incubazul campus that is open to all citizens, without it being necessary to be housed in the incubator or to be part of it.
In total there will be six editions of 500 hours each, which will have common elements in entrepreneurship and blue economy, and a specialization in one of the verticals: aquaculture, sustainable tourism and renewable energy.
The first of the editions combines three blocks: The Blue Economy, How to undertake successfully and Coastal and Sustainable Tourism. The first of the courses will start on June 1 and will be held in two phases - from June 1 to July 22; and from September 5 to 31 - with a total of 118 teaching hours, of which 55 will be face-to-face and 55 online, in addition to 8 practical hours in the virtual classroom.
The second of the programs has 182 teaching hours (45 face-to-face, 129 online and 8 practical hours in the virtual classroom) and will begin on October 1 and conclude on December 19. The Coastal and Sustainable Tourism course will also begin on June 1 and the dates will coincide with the Blue Economy course, although with 200 teaching hours (60 face-to-face, 132 online and 8 practices in the virtual classroom).
In the selection of these specific lines, an intense field study has been carried out to see those that have the most interest and opportunities in the current market.
The State delegate in the Cadiz Free Zone, Fran González, has stressed that the "plan is open to all interested citizens, not only for incubated companies, with the aim of generating an entrepreneurial spirit, concern for the environment and blue economy, desire to develop ideas”
González explained that it is “a kind of pre-Incubazul campus where some ideas could begin to take shape, where they could begin to acquire skills and knowledge in entrepreneurship and the blue economy, with a view to ending up being incubated, if the participants so wish, in our incubator.
The person in charge of the Free Trade Zone concluded by recalling the objective of Incubazul: to promote innovation and technological transformation in Cádiz "and for this we not only have to attract companies to the incubator but also be able to generate that entrepreneurial spirit and generate that spirit leading to a real change in the economic model. And here this Training Plan makes perfect sense, this pre-Incubazul campus, which allows us to reach more than 150 people to sow the seeds that could end up developing their full potential in the incubator and positioning Cádiz as a center of talent and commitment. with the ecosystem, with our seas and oceans”.
The company in charge of the training is the company Method, which has more than 20,000 training actions in its curriculum and 600,000 students who have passed through its classrooms. It is an international consulting firm specializing in training, research and technological development services that bases its value proposition on a solid commitment to clients, collaborators and the people in the organization.
This Training Plan is part of the actions that the Incubazul High Technology incubator is developing, a project that was born thanks to the support of the European Union that co-finances it, through the INCYDE Foundation, 80% by the ERDF within the Multi-regional Operational Program 2014-2020 within Axis 3: Improving the Competitiveness of SMEs, Thematic Objective 3 Improving the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises, and investment priority 3 Promotion of the entrepreneurial spirit, in particular, facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas, and promoting the creation of new companies, also through incubators.
