Fran González has been very satisfied with the contacts made at this international event, which “provides us with an ideal forum to sell the benefits of the province to potential investors and promote our new, more sustainable industrial model. “This is precisely a forum in which the role of the new economy as a vector of reindustrialization is highlighted,” he said.

The delegate has also highlighted the evolution that Incubazul and the startups that participate in the acceleration program are having. “To the award given today to Agualytics and the presence of Green Navigation, of which we are tremendously proud because of what it means for the initiatives to go abroad, we must add the important fact that a third of the 69 startups that we have hosted are already billing. It is evident that the Incubazul ecosystem and the project itself are working.”

Participation of Incubazul startups

And these two Incubazul startups have had an important participation in the event. On the one hand, Agualytics has been recognized among all the startups participating in the BNEW Startup Innovation Hub in the sustainability category. The award was presented by the State delegate to the Barcelona Free Trade Zone Consortium and president of the BNEW, Pere Navarro. This award adds to the third place recently achieved by Agualytics in the LIFE ECODIGESTION 2.0 Startup Awards 2023, an initiative promoted by the European Commission.

Agualytics, an accelerated company in Incubazul since February 2023, is a startup dedicated to software development, easily scalable, just like the business model based on recurring payments through subscription. Agualytics obtains data and converts it into information to facilitate efficient and sustainable use of water and energy, promoting responsible, profitable and environmentally friendly production.

At the table, the representative of Green Navigation presented his vision on technology at the service of knowledge and provided his opinion on the main changes that companies must make in order to implement technology and generate a competitive advantage. In this sense, he showed his conviction of the active role of companies when it comes to developing methods of attracting, retaining, training and developing talent, and, finally, he advanced the company's approach with respect to the future that can be built with AI based on certain values.

In these two years they have been the winners of the international Ocean Hackathon event, they have been chosen by The Arch as the second best solution for the ecological transition in Europe and they have presented their solution before the European Parliament, in a public intervention by Daniel Precioso.

Incubazul, the high-tech incubator linked to the Blue Economy that aims to bring to light ideas that work in this area, combining the use of marine resources and innovation with sustainability and the environment, is proving to be a project with great potential, a benchmark for the Blue Economy and whose startups are beginning to show optimal results.
