What is your role within the company?
Founder, leading the services and ensuring the mission, vision, values and strategy of `The Talent Sea', creating work environments, professional development and learning in entities and companies in a healthy way.
What does your value proposition consist of?
`The Talent Sea´ specializes mainly in two sectors:
Blue Economy, focused on maritime and naval entities and Port Authorities, dealing with talent loyalty, especially through skills training, leadership and change management, to achieve development, professional growth and the well-being of its employees.
Sports talent, with priority in areas such as female leadership, management of emotions in professional and competitive sports, Paralympics, veterans, and identification of skills transferable from sport to the labor market, among others.
How does your solution contribute to the sustainability of marine resources?
First of all, Blue Economy companies and entities (naval, maritime, Port Authorities...) and sports entities are led and made up of people. These people must be trained in skills, in ESG (what was previously known as CSR-Corporate Social Responsibility) and in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, established in the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations Organization.
`The Talent Sea´, in its work of continuous improvement, it has been updated by attending the training sessions of the COE-Spanish Olympic Committee on SDGs, social sustainability, and communication and awareness of said Sustainable Development Goals among athletes, sports entities and sporting events.
the work of `The Talent Sea´ It is informative and raises awareness among sports, naval, maritime entities, Port Authorities... working in parallel and integrating the SDGs into the skills, leadership, constructive business communication and change management training that we offer.
This point is a very important factor that we must all take into account in the management, attraction, loyalty of talent and emotional salary, since more and more people, and especially the new generations, seek to work in entities that are truly aware and that take action. real in terms of sustainability.
What aspects differentiate you from your competition?
Specialization in training in skills that include changes in habits necessary for continuous improvement and personalized action plans (female leadership, constructive business communication...) specifically for both sports entities and Blue Economy entities (maritime, naval and Authorities Port), in addition to many years of experience and international vision, having learned about other educational, training and university systems, other ways of working and doing things, being able to offer all services in both Spanish and English.
How do you think technology helps to enhance your solution?
Although face-to-face training occupies a large part of our efforts and our work time, streaming connections are necessary today, since they allow us to work from Cádiz with all of Spain and from Cádiz with other countries, as well as the digitization of content and gamifications, making access possible, not only from anywhere, but also at any time, at any time of the day.
Therefore, in both cases, streaming and digitalization of content and gamification, considerably expand the target audience and market volume.
Have you come into contact with potential clients?
Yes, when investing in talent, turnover is avoided and more benefits are generated, both for employees and for entities.
This is permanent work, we must continue closing more meetings with more entities, listening to their needs. The more the Blue Economy entities and sports entities collaborate and are open to having professionals and talent specialists, the easier it will be to solve the gaps and needs of these entities, so I encourage them to contact, in order to find solutions and strategic lines jointly. In this way, confidentiality and the creation of an environment of trust are among our company values and culture.
How did you find out about the Incubazul acceleration program?
On the one hand, many in-depth previous conversations with one of the mentors, and, on the other hand, I presented my talent loyalty, well-being and training services at the International Blue Economy Congress held at the end of November/beginning of December 2022 At the Palacio de Congresos de Cádiz, there Incubazul coordinator and facilitator met me and learned about my business project, it suited them and they encouraged me to present myself to the selection process to join Incubazul. That's how it went.
How is your experience in the accelerator?
Very intense, receiving different points of view and information from different prisms, but in the end it is the person in charge of each accelerated company who must make the decisions.
The experience in the accelerator helps to know and be up to date on what is already being done or what is already being worked on in the market, to discover what your added value is realistically. It gives you that bird's eye perspective.
What areas of mentoring do you think can bring you more value?
All areas are necessary and all teach you something or take you out of your comfort zone. In addition to how I have experienced it, talking with other colleagues and with other projects and companies in Incubazul, we usually agree on the peace of mind that reviewing and comparing legal aspects in mentoring with legal professionals gives us.
In my case, marketing and digitalization of content also translate into an acceleration of the process.
What would you say to other entrepreneurs who want to launch their project based on Blue Economy?
I would tell you that what better place, Cádiz, a benchmark city in the Blue Economy and with Incubazul, a business accelerator also a benchmark in the Blue Economy, to find professional and specialized support in the different areas that will advance your company.
