The Cádiz Free Trade Zone is participating in the Navalia 2024 naval sector fair that is being held in Vigo and ends tomorrow, making the sector aware of the potential of the spaces it has in the
Bahía de Cádiz, as well as exposing the products of some of the companies that are being incubated in Incubazul.
Thus, during the morning, the delegate of the Cádiz Consortium, Fran González, participated in the meeting held by the members of the Cádiz Naval Maritime Cluster. In fact, the national clusters of the sector have been present in Vigo through Cádiz, the Canary Islands, Cantabria, Galicia, the Basque Maritime Forum and the Spanish Maritime Cluster, of which Navalia is also a part, as well as the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz.
The ninth edition of this international naval industry fair was attended by more than 500 exhibitors, a thousand brands represented and representatives from a total of 75 countries, including
exhibitors, pavilions and visitors. A commission from the Commercial Area of the Free Trade Zone has been explaining to the participants the assets available, as well as the benefits of operating in a tax area. The delegate has also been with them and has also been able to share time with incubated companies. in Incubazul, such is the case of Canonical Green, who are working on the google of the sea; a device to shorten and make safer the crossings of large ships so that costs and emissions into the atmosphere are reduced; or Black Sand technologies, a company that is designing advanced catamarans and trimarans with sustainable technology.
