On March 7, at CiMUS, University of Santiago de Compostela, thepresentation of the 2024 call for the Mind the Gap Program of the Botín Foundation, in collaboration with Bioga, the University of Santiago de Compostela, with the collaboration of the IberoBio project.
The event marked a milestone in the promotion of innovation and technological progress in Spain, starting a new phase in the search for innovative solutions for the current needs of society. The call, aimed at promoting emerging business projects originating in Spanish research institutions and based on technologies and scientific knowledge, was the center of attention of the day.
Mind the Gap offered an opportunity for technology transfer from academia to the market, spanning all health sciences disciplines. The projects that are selected will receive a financial investment of up to €500,000, spread over a maximum of two years, as well as the support and guidance of an expert advisor appointed by the Botín Foundation.
The event, which was free of charge and open to the public, represented a step forward in Bioga's commitment to promoting innovation and socioeconomic development in Spain, through collaboration between research and the business sector.
