Bilbao becomes the epicenter of innovation in the food industry with the start of technology week, which hosts two emblematic events:Food 4 Future – Expo Foodtech 2024. From last Tuesday, April 16, until Thursday the 18th, the Exhibition Center has been the meeting point for more than 8,000 professionals, generating an economic impact estimated at more than 19 million euros for the city.
At this outstanding event, the POCTEP IberoBio project has been represented by Bioga and Colab4foood. During these days, they have had the opportunity to meet with leaders in the food innovation sector to discuss the future of sustainable food.
The president of Bioga, José Manuel López Vilariño, had an outstanding participation in the round table “CaixaBank DayOne: Building the Spanish foodtech ecosystem“, organized by CaixaBank DayOne. In this forum, the Spanish foodtech ecosystem and its contribution to innovation in the food sector were addressed.
Food 4 Future – Expo Foodtech 2024 is not only a showcase of the latest technologies and trends in the food industry, but also a space for knowledge exchange and collaboration between international experts, government representatives and entrepreneurs in the sector. The presence of the IberoBio project highlights the commitment to sustainability and the search for innovative solutions for the future of food.
