The delegate of the Cádiz Free Zone and the ambassador of Chile bring together lines of collaboration around the Blue Economy

The delegate of the Free Zone of Cádiz, Fran González, held an institutional meeting this morning with the ambassador of Chile in Spain, Javier Velasco, at the Embassy of the Andean country to establish lines of joint work around the sustainability strategy of the Free Zone of Cádiz and his work in the Blue Economy through the high-tech incubator, Incubazul.

During the meeting, the bases were established for the interrelation of all the work of the Consortium in this matter with the innovation strategy linked to the sea promoted by the Andean country, which also has two Free Trade Zones in Iquique and Punta Arena, with which It is also intended to establish connections for the exchange of ideas and projects.

Previously, Fran González also held a working meeting with the executive director of the Chile-Spain Foundation, Mª Ángeles Osorio, and the project director, Julio Martínez, to delve into the development of joint actions between both entities.

Both meetings have given continuity to the lines of work that emerged from the “Chile-Spain Blue Economy Meeting”, which was held in Cádiz in mid-June on the occasion of the arrival of the Esmeralda Ship to the city, and in which the delegate participated in the Round Table 'The protection of ocean biodiversity and sustainability'.
