Incubazul is a guest speaker at the Spain-Portugal Cross-Border Technical Conference on Sustainability and the Blue Economy

The High Technology Incubator in Blue Economy, Incubazul, has participated this week in El Rompido (Cartaya, Huelva) in the Spain-Portugal Cross-Border Technical Conference on Sustainability and Blue Economy. A meeting that has taken place on the border of two countries bathed by the Atlantic Ocean and, therefore, with a growing interest and awareness for the Blue Economy.

Within this framework, a masterclass on sustainability and coastal tourism, and three round tables on fishing and aquaculture, blue tourism and innovation and on business initiatives linked to blue growth have taken place.

Incubazul participated in the hands of project technician Miriam Pulido, who made a presentation of everything offered by the Cádiz Free Trade Zone incubator, which aims to incubate 80 companies. Among the services it provides are incubation spaces, with physical or remote accommodation, individual or shared offices (coworking), meeting and training rooms, as well as a Laboratory with state-of-the-art machinery.

Networking programs, access to financing, research and services make up other pillars of action of the incubator.

Training and mentoring

But if there is one facet in which Incubazul stands out, it is training and mentoring, with a great team of professionals who advise, supervise and guide the incubated initiatives, and carry out exhaustive monitoring of accelerated projects. 18 people are the ones that currently make up this team of mentors that range from communication, technology or legaltech, to digital marketing, business models, international expansion and commercial and corporate law, passing, of course, through the Blue Economy and sustainable.

In this sense, it is also worth highlighting the numerous Open Days that are held, one per month with its corresponding Masterclass, with training on current and current affairs, and the Incubazul Hackaton, of which a new edition will be held on April 12 and 13. .

In this training section, an important stop must be made in the Blueway program, which is held 100% online and is free. It is made up of four training itineraries: how to undertake successfully, blue economy, aquaculture and coastal and sustainable tourism.

Social networks and 4th batch of input

Incubazul's participation in the cross-border conference on the Blue Economy held in Cartaya ended with a brief explanation of the 46 active startups and pointing out the social networks in which information on the initiative is disseminated, of the emerging companies accelerated in the Zona Franca incubator of Cádiz as well as the numerous spaces and services that are offered.
