The delegate of the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Fran González, the rector of the University of Cádiz and president of the CEI·Mar Foundation, Casimiro Mantell, accompanied by the mayor of Cádiz, Bruno García, as a collaborator of the event, and the representatives of the sponsors, Caja Rural del Sur, Petaca Chico and Telefónica, have today announced the sponsors' panel and some relevant milestones of the programming of the Blue Zone Forum-Innovazul 2024, which will be held at the Cádiz Congress Palace from November 20 to 22 organized by Zona Franca, UCA, CEI-Mar and Incubazul. Puertos del Estado, Junta de Andalucía and Fundación Cajasol, which are also collaborators in the meeting, were unable to attend today's presentation.
In addition to confirming that nearly 900 people have already registered for the event, 166 of which come from four teaching centers and institutes in Cadiz, Fran González and Casimiro Mantell have revealed two of the great figures who will participate in the forum, Celine Cousteau and Ferrán Adria. Both will contribute with their presentations, data and visions of great value to the Blue Economy, environment, innovation and entrepreneurship sector.
The environmental activist, filmmaker, explorer and committed defender of the protection of the oceans Celine Cousteau, granddaughter of the legendary researcher and oceanographer Jacques Cousteau, will be in charge of the opening speech of the Blue Zone Forum-Innovazul 2024 and will take place after the institutional inauguration . Cousteau's participation in the Blue Zone Forum-Innovazul 2024 is part of the Iberobio Project, in which the Cádiz Consortium participates and which is aimed at startups linked to biotechnology within the framework of the Blue Economy, a collaboration framed in the project 0041_IBERO_BIO_6_E , co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund ERDF within the framework of the Interreg VI program A Spain – Portugal (POCTEP) 2021-2027
Fran González has reported on Celine Cousteau's presentation, which will result in her committed message about climate change and the challenges and possibilities that the oceans in general and the Blue Economy in particular offer us, providing a valuable perspective on these opportunities in the current context emphasizing the importance of marine conservation and sustainable development.
Celine Cousteau has collected and expanded the testimony of her grandfather Jacques Cousteau, a great researcher of the underwater world who carried out enormous work to protect the oceans, spreading the value of life in the world's seas and promoting their conservation.

For three days, Cádiz will once again be a center of reflection and knowledge around the Blue Economy with the help of the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Incubazul, the University of Cádiz and the Campus of Global International Excellence of the Sea (CEI·Mar), that this year they join their efforts to once again turn the capital of Cadiz into the great forum of the sector and bring together entrepreneurs, companies, institutions, experts, the scientific community and lecturers in the city. Last year, the first edition of the Blue Zone Forum, organized by the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, brought together more than a thousand attendees in Cádiz and turned the Cadiz capital into a forum for reflection on the transition towards a more sustainable socioeconomic model based , mainly, in the oceans and seas as a great opportunity for the future of the planet and the latest technological and scientific advances were shown.
