Of the 100 selected projects that are participating in the acceleration program, 41 are invoicing and 31 have a minimum viable product (MVP)
The growing activity of startups confirms the functioning of the infrastructure of the Blue Economics Incubator once the FEDER FINANCIAL FINANCING FRAMEWORK
The blue economy incubator of the Free Zone of Cádiz, Incubazul, confirms again the proper functioning of its acceleration program by taking stock of the latest registered data. This balance shows figures that verify the growing activity of the startups, being 41% the companies housed in incubazul that are already invoicing when the last quarter of 2024 began were one third the startups they invoiced.
Another relevant fact to keep in mind is that the projects that have registered a minimum viable product (MVP), a stage prior to takeoff, have also increased, which has already reached 31%, while project projects with projection for their character Innovative are 28%.

These figures, which demonstrate by themselves the evolution of the incubator, reflect that it is a percentage higher than the average of other similar experiences and demonstrate the good accompaniment of the mentors and the use that the companies of the acceleration program do.
This was highlighted by the special delegate of the State for the Free Zone of Cádiz, Fran González, who commented that “verifying this growing activity of the startups housed in the incubator is a symptom that it is an initiative that works beyond the funds Europeos que la han financiado”. In addition, "all the selected ideas will help strengthen the blue economy ecosystem that the province of Cádiz already has, as we defend from the free zone in our strategy that the province is the great pole of the blue economy."
Startups that participate in the Incubazul acceleration program have been able to verify that the incubator space has been productive to grow, learn and consolidate the idea, working in an area of both potential as the blue economy, which also helps reduce the Negative impact on the environment and even generate a positive impact on the environment.

Incubazul has been possible thanks to the financing of the European Pluriregional Fund of Spain Feder 2014-2020 PO “A way of making Europe”, for which the consortium of the Free Zone was awarded more than 5 million euros of European funds for un nuevo modelo de intervención.
The correct management of the Free Zone of Cádiz with European funds has been recently confirmed with a new aid for the ZF Blue Core project that complements incubazul and will serve as impulse and consolidation of innovative companies linked to the blue economy, have passed or not by the incubazul incubator acceleration program. His vocation is to serve as a bridge for those initiatives that receive personalized advice in the incubator and need a new framework before being a real part of the Ecosystem in Blue Economics of the province. It is a 4.0 nursery where companies can finish consolidating and advance in the entire digital framework of the project thanks to a specialized technological laboratory and mentorization.
