Cádiz will become the great meeting point, a center for reflection, knowledge and networking of everything related to the sea, from the blue economy to the naval industry in the framework of sustainability and innovation with the celebration of Blue Zone Forum-Navalia Meeting, a meeting organized by the Free Zone of Cádiz and Navalia with the collaboration of the Naval Maritime Cluster of Cádiz, which this year will be held jointly in September. The event, which has been presented today at the Incubazul headquarters in the European Building of the Gaditano fiscal enclosure, will turn the city into a focus of innovation that will bring together the naval innovation promoted by Navalia and the sustainable innovation of the new industrial model that develops the Free Zone of Cádiz.

The delegate of the Free Zone of Cádiz, Fran González, the CEO of Navalia Meeting, Javier Arnau, accompanied by the vice president of the Naval Maritime Cluster of Cádiz, Jesús Rodríguez, have confirmed today that this great meeting will be held between September 24 and 26 at the Palace of Congresses of Cádiz and will bring together experts linked to the blue economy and the blue Gaditana capital in International Forum in which entrepreneurs, companies, institutions, experts and speakers will meet. In addition, there will be a custom area for exhibitors and sponsors, in addition to including an area for live demonstrations of the different startups and exhibiting companies.

Both Fran González and Javier Arnau have explained that the event will revolve around issues of maximum interest for the blue and naval sector, all from an innovative and sustainable prism, and on which companies, institutions, experts and assistants in general will expose their expectations, concerns and solutions. All this with an interesting presentation program and round tables, but also with social acts that foster networking.

Fran González has declared herself very excited about celebrating the Blue Zone Forum this year together with Navalia Meeting, after the experience with the University of Cádiz in the last edition, which was “a very rewarding experience. Part of the Blue Economy and Industry 4.0 ecosystem of the Free Zone of Cádiz will create a highly specialized, interesting and productive environment. ”

The delegate of the Free Zone has thanked Navalia “his commitment to Cádiz and the interest shown towards Blue Zone Forum, which has already demonstrated a great level in its two editions, and to the Naval Maritime Cluster of Cádiz his tireless work for the maritime and naval sector and for giving visibility to Cádiz in national and international forums”.

For his part, Javier Arnau has also highlighted the great opportunity of joining these two great quotes "adding and creating synergies" to give rise "to the best event related to the sea that will be held in Spain in this year 2025". Arnau has stressed that the choice of Cádiz as a place of celebration of Navalia Meeting 2025 "is not chance" since the Cadiz city "is a reference for the naval sector given the crucial role that its shipyards play in the construction and repair of ships."

Navalia is the most important naval sector fair since its birth in 2006. Biennial character, its main objective is to be a promotion tool within the naval sector in our country, as well as an international meeting point for companies related to naval construction and auxiliary industry. After 9 editions and more than 20 years of work, Navalia has also been able to place between the first three fairs in Europe within its segment.

Responding to an old demand from the exhibitors of Navalia, who requested an annual meeting of the naval sector given the biennial character of the fair, Navalia Meeting was born, an appointment that aims to bring together the sector in the years in which the fair is not celebrated (odd), to promote a quieter reflection point. This meeting arrives in Cádiz in its third edition after the quotes of Vigo (2021) and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (2023).

For its part, the Blue Zone Forum celebrates its third edition this year, after 2023 and 2024, the latter organized in collaboration with the University of Cádiz (UCA), and has converted Cádiz for two consecutive years in a forum for reflection on the transition to a more sustainable socio -economic model based, mainly, in the oceans and the seas as a great opportunity for the future of the future of the planet, in an environment of collaboration and innovation.

Zona Franca and UCA joined in 2024 to combine the scientific world with business and gave exclusive spaces to the role of women in the blue economy sector and the biotechnology sector, congregating around this theme to great national and international figures and experts, complemented with practical workshops, networks events and stands area.

Today's presentation has been an advance of this event, which will congregate again in the Cadiz capital of a good number of national and international assistants, companies and speakers, as well as great figures of the blue and naval sector and that has the support of institutions, companies and entities linked to the sector.
